I'd love some guidance.

I'm a former Java developer--having since gone into project management
and team leadership.  My focus is very much now at the 30,000 ft.
architectural level and my coding is rusty, to say the least.

What's the best way to start?  I downloaded QuickStart, but what's not
clear to me is, "now what"?  Is there something (presentation or How
To) on this site that shows me:

    - What goes in which directories
    - What are certain files used for
    - What's a good way to start

The Download page is a bit dizzying for a newbe, and I'm trying to
figure out which of the downloads do I need (all, only some, just
QuickStart--does that have everything)?  The page doesn't make it very
clear.

I've searched the Nabble archives for some guidance, and there seems
to have been a proposal on a Flash movie on how to build a blog and
another by a user trying to get HelloWorld to work, but not much more
guidance.

Thx in advance.

I knew this would happen.  I'd spend an hour looking for my answer,
find nothing, post to the mail list, and then find the answer.  Here
it is:

Sorry!

Hi,

Note that RIFE is typically very different from other Java frameworks
to get started. You should just download the jumpstart and start
working with that. The RIFE jar contains all you need. Immediately
getting a feel for how things work, either by following the tutorial
video, reading the cookbook or looking over the examples. The Live
Guide is very low level and in most cases you will be able to use much
faster methods to achieve what you want. Don't try to analyze
everything from day one since you might get overwhelmed, users have
generally better success when they first dive right in and then
analyze in more depth later on.

Best regards,

Geert
