GEC#2 is coming up soon and there's been almost no discussion on the
list since the first GEC. I think we really need to get started
discussing what's important for us to figure out sooner rather than
later. So, I'm going to try sending some ideas. Everyone on the list
should comment on anything I have to say or offer their own ideas of
what's important.
Heidi has put up on the Wiki the list from our first meeting of things
that people had suggested as the "Top 10" (there were actually 16, and
I've added two more :-) issues. I thought that working on that might
be a good start. So, I started thinking independently of what my
biggest issues are and found that the list from GEC#1 didn't include
my biggest issue. Also, some things that were one issue on my list
actually covered several of the ones on the list. I managed to work a
bit on my list so that they mostly matched and have updated the page
to reflect my own issues.
Everyone on the list should have a Wiki login by now. Please go to
the list <
http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/OperationsIssues> and
vote for the ones you think are important. And if there's one you'd
particularly like thrashed out sooner rather than later, feel free to
start your own thread...in a few minutes I will on my concern that
seems to have been overlooked before.
