Getting Landscape from OS

Hi everyone

This maybe silly of me to be asking. Or, maybe I have been too pre-occupied with other things. Please forgive me for my ignorance.

I have been trying to get my documents in landscape. I followed the instructions that I got in help, but that did not help. The programme seems to accept the landscape option, when I go to preview and print, the document comes in portrait.

What is it that I am missing to do?
