GLib - cross compile for arm9

Hi all,

I'm using an embedded linux system based on arm9.
My cross compiler is linux-arm-gcc 3.3.3.

Are there any experiences in cross-compiling GLib to the ARM Architecture with my cross-compiler?
Maybe some problems I might run into ...

How much resources (memory in RAM and on DISK) does the compiled GLib take?
