GIS shapefilesHi,
I'm trying to create agents inhabiting a territory, visualized by a GIS map. I'd want a political map, topographical map, climate map, etc in layers often seen in shapefile repositories. Where do I find documentation for including this in Simphony geographies? For instance, using layers of maps, or updating a color in one of these maps, as a function of number of agents. Any help is appreciated. Regards, Mikael ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW! Re: GIS shapefilesIf these are static background layers, you can add them using the
display wizard: in the agent style section for a gis display click the "+" button to add a shapefile. If they are dynamic, that is, you want to change feature attribute values then you'll need to treat the features as a source for agent data. I think there's been other posts on the list that explain that more fully as well as a GIS based tutorial on the website.
