Flow chart software recommendationsI looking for some software to do flow charts, state machine diagrams and
the like for a hobby project. Needs to run on windows and be cheap or free. Initially I need it for state machine diagram layout. I'm expecting it will grow in time as I add more things and it will require revision along the way. I'm looking for something easy to use rather than all powerful and complicated. Any suggestions where I might look or experience you can share? Re: Flow chart software recommendationsI'd like to mention GraphViz - it does a moderately good job of rendering a
graph/flow chart based on a text-file description of relationships between each node/element. Re: Flow chart software recommendationsI am crazy about a package called WizFlow. Much better than Visio (or, it is
like Visio USED TO BE before $MS bought it). About 60 $USD, but worth it. Right now I'm looking at Dia as suggested. I think that it has everything that I need. It is like a time machine. I asked the question a month ago and got answers today!
