Great news! It is the beginning of the end for publicly owned,
contributor oblivious stock agencies. Years ago, Getty left the
photographer development to others (like Picture Arts), got greedier,
ate up all their partners, and are now starting with the rawest of the
talent pool. Not to say their aren't good photogs on Flickr, but they
will have to wade through thousands to find the right combination of
business acumen, lifestyle, desire and talent.
Now let's defeat this Orphan Rights BS, and give the market 10 years
to right itself and we should all be able to make a living again.
