Flash SharedObject Demo

Can anyone get the shared object Demo to work for Flash (not Flex)??

I’ve tried everything and can’t get it working. The flash also seems to be missing the code for the ball_so.connect(…) method.

Var ballSo:SharedObject = SharedObject.getRemote("Test", "rtmp://localhost:2037", false);

ballSo.addEventListener(SyncEvent.SYNC, ballSo_onSync);

ballSo.addEventListener(AsyncErrorEvent.ASYNC_ERROR, ballSo_onSyncError);

ballSo.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, ballSo_onNetStatus);

ballSo.connect(clientNc);

I can confirm that my NetConnection (clientNc) is connected, however, flash throws an error at the getRemote method:

Error: Error #2134: Cannot create SharedObject.

          at flash.net::SharedObject$/getRemote()

          at MyRTMP/DoStuff()

          at test2_fla::MainTimeline/SharedBall_mc_onPress()

Anyone have any ideas?
