Fenders. et alI posted part of this before but it hasn;t come
through... Re the fenders Mary Lou mentioned...you can find them for $35/ea at Boatersland.com rather than the $55/ea at West & other similar places.... Attached is a pix from the storm taken at 6 this AM...Usually I have to swing down 2' to the boat...the gunnel rides even with the bottom of the dock....the line on the front stbd piling is ordinarily @ 2' or a bit more above the water. floating dock...users ordinarily have to climb down 3-5 rungs on the ladder, depending on the tide..... Judging from the amount of debris on the dock, the water was probably over the dock's surface for a time during the night.... elle We can't change the angle of the wind....but we can adjust our sails. 1992 Rhodes 22 Recyc '06 "WaterMusic" (Lady in Red) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Fenders. et al, reply for Elle...Elle:
Thank you for that reference, http://boatersland.com/ . Another source, besides the high gross margin place. I wonder if our Ohio Rhodies took note of its location? BTW, did you ever get any pest strips? Stock them at your marina? Or do you insist on sealing and fogging your boat once a week? Ed K Greenville, SC, USA attachment:Progression.jpg Progression.jpg |

Re: Fenders. et al, reply for Elle...Ed,
There were no No Pest Strips in the small town in which I reside...but there were foggers...so I did tent the boat and set off two foggers...did you miss the post with the pix?...and after removing the tent I went under the seats & sprayed behind the seats under the gunnels with wasp spray...I have not seen any sinne...of course, the weather has been horrendous....I am away doing SOL's in No VA right now, but warm weather this week should bring them out this week if there are any left.... elle Tootle <ekroposki@...> wrote: Elle: Thank you for that reference, http://boatersland.com/ .
