Fedora clean install USB lan adapter causes kernel failureI install fedora 9 from a freshly downloaded dvd on a newly built box.
verstion 2.6.25.14. Set up the network on my usb adapter and everything worked fine. Lynksys WUSB54Gc adapter. I updated my install using yum and rebooted intalled 2.6.25.6-55. The boot went good and boted faster than the original install. I went to shutdown and got a kernel fault with a usb driver or module. I can't get anything out of the logs. I have install F9 twice. The first time this would just get worse, dropping the network connection. When I tried to restart the network, a error in ifdown script would occur. I would appreciate any help. thank you Joe -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@... To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list |

Need help with Toshiba Tecra SD readerI cannot access the SD reader of a Toshiba Tecra. I already tested
several SD cards. The SD cards work fine under Windows XP and Mac X, but Fedora 9 does not recognize the reader/drive? Does anyone know how to install the driver for the SD reader? Thanks a lot. Luis I dunno the answer, but I wouldn't mind knowing--I've got one of those machines (belongs to the employer, but it's old enough that no one else wants it, so I guess it's mine to use as long as I want.) -- ---- Fred Smith -- fredex@... ----------------------------- "For him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy--to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! The link was more for information then anything else. If you get an error, post it here. I'll fire up my Toshiba laptop, and check if I did anything special to make it work - I have the TI chipset in there.
