How is svscan started on FC9 which uses "upstart".

In the /etc/event.d/ dir create svscanboot file

# svscanboot

start on runlevel-2
start on runlevel-3
start on runlevel-4
start on runlevel-5

stop on shutdown

exec /command/svscanboot
Respawn
