Feature requestKMyMoney Developers,
As I was using the 9.2 version, I thought of a few things that would make kmymoney better. 1. - A way to disable accounts. This is for when you have a credit card and wish to close it, or you switch banks and need to close the old accounts. Deleting them isn't possible because transactions still are routed through that account, but the account shouldn't accept any more transactions occurring. 2. - A way to add liability payments to the budget. While it is nice to be able to budget in kMyMoney, it is key to a budget to be able to show payments to liability accounts, as that can be a large chunk of where your money is going every month, an especially large chunk if there is a mortgage payment involved. 3, - Allow percentage of income budgeting. Some taxes are percentage based, and it would be nice to be able to say that this expense category will be x% of the monthly income, or even that it will be x% of the selected income categories for the month. It's all in place. > 2. - A way to add liability payments to the budget. So basically tie the budget of one category to another one based on a formula, if I explain this in a more abstract/generalized way. That's probably a good idea. Maybe, a start would actually be a simple factor. -- Regards Thomas Baumgart GPG-FP: E55E D592 F45F 116B 8429 4F99 9C59 DB40 B75D D3BA ------------------------------------------------------------- An optimist laughs to forget. (that's 21:00 MESZ or 15:00 GST) for about one hour. So this will start soon (20 minutes). If you have questions, go for it. -- Regards Thomas Baumgart GPG-FP: E55E D592 F45F 116B 8429 4F99 9C59 DB40 B75D D3BA ------------------------------------------------------------- Life would be so much easier if we could just look at the source code. -- Dave Olson ------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ KMyMoney2-developer mailing list KMyMoney2-developer@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kmymoney2-developer |
