Feature Request: Explorer Overlays Showing Lock Status

It is an annoyance to me that the overlay icons does not show whether
a file needs locking, and whether it is currently locked. I keep on
opening files as read-only as they require a lock.

Would it be possible to extend the explorer overlay icons with two
additional icons:

 - Icon showning that a file needs locking, and is not locked by the
current user.
 - Icon showing that a file is locked by the current user.

This would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks,

   Gert

I agree that this would be comfortable. Unfortunately we are quite limited in
the number of possible icon overlays here (by a maximum of 15, from which the
system already consumes some). AFAIK, it's also not possible to have two icon
overlays painted at the same time.

Locked/Needs-Locking/Unlocked is orthogonal to the SVN states currently
displayed. Combination of Locked/Needs-Locking/Unlocked makes at least sense
for unmodified/modified/conflicting/removed, hence 8 more states which is too
much. Hence, if displaying lock-information at all, we have to restrict to the
e.g. 2-3 most important combinations.
