I agree that this would be comfortable. Unfortunately we are quite limited in
the number of possible icon overlays here (by a maximum of 15, from which the
system already consumes some). AFAIK, it's also not possible to have two icon
overlays painted at the same time.
Locked/Needs-Locking/Unlocked is orthogonal to the SVN states currently
displayed. Combination of Locked/Needs-Locking/Unlocked makes at least sense
for unmodified/modified/conflicting/removed, hence 8 more states which is too
much. Hence, if displaying lock-information at all, we have to restrict to the
e.g. 2-3 most important combinations.
