Does that mean you can't install farcry in a Linux machine?

Since most Linux distros install with a version of Zip, I'd think you
would be fine.

Hi Magnus,

You certainly can run FarCry on Linux. The zip files are the easiest
to get for a fresh installation as they contain all packages,
otherwise you can get individual modules from the SVN repository:

http://svn1.cvsdude.com/modius/farcry/

Hi Magnus,

after a lot of problems I'v got it running (Version 4.0.9) under Linux
in an Hosting-Enviroment. I'm a FarCry beginner also, but if you have
questions you're welcome.
