Farcry on Linux
I am looking at this in the Farcry Site:
" Latest 4.0 Milestone ReleasesWindows / OSX...<snip>... Linux
Does that mean you can't install farcry in a Linux machine? Since most Linux distros install with a version of Zip, I'd think you would be fine. Re: Farcry on LinuxHi Magnus, You certainly can run FarCry on Linux. The zip files are the easiest to get for a fresh installation as they contain all packages, otherwise you can get individual modules from the SVN repository: http://svn1.cvsdude.com/modius/farcry/ On Nov 1, 3:20 pm, RobG <sled...@...> wrote: > Magnus Thyvold wrote: > > I am looking at this in the Farcry Site: > > > " > > > *Latest 4.0 Milestone Releases* > > > *Windows / OSX > > > *...<snip>... > > > Linux > > > * None available (if you can generate a gzipped tar ball from SVN > > for the different milestones please contact modius-AT-daemon.com.au) > > > " > > > Does that mean you can't install farcry in a Linux machine? > > Since most Linux distros install with a version of Zip, I'd think you > would be fine. > > Rob- Hide quoted text - > > - Show quoted text - --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-user" group. Re: Farcry on LinuxHi Magnus, after a lot of problems I'v got it running (Version 4.0.9) under Linux in an Hosting-Enviroment. I'm a FarCry beginner also, but if you have questions you're welcome.
