FarCry 5.0 Release CandidateWe've exported a new bundle for those not on SVN. We're calling it a release candidate. We've cleaned up the current beta bug list and barring any catastrophes this will be released as a milestone shortly. Latest ZIPs: http://www.daemon.com.au/builds/beta/ Enjoy! -- geoff http://www.daemon.com.au/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-beta" group. Re: FarCry 5.0 Release CandidateJeff, > I am running build3058 currently > How do I update to the release candidate? > How do I overlay the new files? A. Backup (just in case) 1. Backup all folders (including projects) 2. Backup DB B. Upgrade 1. Replace the old folder (core, plugins, and skeletons) and leave the projects folder as-is 2. Update the application scope for each site (or restart CF) 3. Login to FarCry webtop and deploy any types and/or rules that were updated/added (webtop --> Admin --> COAPI Management) Regards, -- Jeff Coughlin Web Application Developer http://jeffcoughlin.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-beta" group.
