Faqbot SVN re-organizationHi Everyone,
I would like to re-organize the current SVN contents and set up a proper project structure for Faqbot (emulating Maven2) in SVN. Here is what I propose to get started with: 1) Stick to Version-0.1 for whatever is there in SVN currently. 2) Tag and move the existing stuff SVN in trunk (faqbot ZIP) to branch 0.1 3) Create a new project structure and create sensible modules for the project. (will address that shortly on http://docs.codehaus.org/display/FAQBOT/Home) 4) Based on the Summer-of-Code proposal, I would like to scope and identify tasks for next iteration. Please feel free to chip in if anyone has any suggestions/ideas for any of the above. Thanks, Rahul |

Sounds good. Do you want to use Maven 2 for the build and the directory structure? Thanks -Vincent |

Can we use M2 to publish FAQBot site on Codehaus? Not sure since it uses Confluence. Any ideas? Cheers, Rahul > > Thanks > -Vincent > |

Right now you have the choice of using either a wiki (the one set up) or using APT/XDoc files. Here's a good tip to easily edit confluence pages if you're using Eclipse. Just install the TimTam plugin in your eclipse. This allows quick editing of the pages directly from Eclipse. It works great for me (this is how I do it for Cargo). Thanks -Vincent |

Re: Faqbot SVN re-organizationHi everyone,
Just a quick note to let everybody know that the FAQBot space has been updated and available at: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/FAQBOT/Home Please feel free to add/comment on the content. We will be scoping tasks for next iteration over next few days and I would like to invite inputs from everyone. Thanks, Rahul ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rinku" <rahul.thakur.xdev@...> To: <dev@...> Sent: Wednesday, January 18, 2006 9:32 PM Subject: [faqbot-dev] Faqbot SVN re-organization > Hi Everyone, > > I would like to re-organize the current SVN contents and set up a > proper project structure for Faqbot (emulating Maven2) in SVN. > > Here is what I propose to get started with: > 1) Stick to Version-0.1 for whatever is there in SVN currently. > 2) Tag and move the existing stuff SVN in trunk (faqbot ZIP) to > branch 0.1 > 3) Create a new project structure and create sensible modules for the > project. > (will address that shortly on > http://docs.codehaus.org/display/FAQBOT/Home) > 4) Based on the Summer-of-Code proposal, I would like to scope and > identify tasks for next iteration. > > Please feel free to chip in if anyone has any suggestions/ideas for > any of the above. > > Thanks, > > Rahul |

Re: Faqbot SVN re-organizationWow ! I wasn't aware I was bumping off the main website content while
editing docs. I can see there's going to be a some learning involved here ;-) Cheers, Rahul > > Cool! > > BTW for those who want a nicer-looking view you can check it out on > http://faqbot.codehaus.org/ > > -Vincent > |
