Hi Folks,

desperately searching for a facetted browser for SWT (=eclipse, rich
client platform, java) and/or Swing.

you know, the good old longwell idea, but more recent.

I remember reading something about a faceted browser in Swing in the
last days, but forgot to bookmark it ;-/

any help greatly welcome, and please include my email address in the answers
best

Leo,

There's also Solr:
    http://lucene.apache.org/solr/
although I don't know if it does anything with SWT or Swing. Longwell
actually doesn't do anything with SWT and Swing, either.

What are you trying to do specifically? A faceted browser for Gnowsis?
There's "Magnet" by Vineet Sinha built for the Haystack platform, which
sits on SWT, but Magnet is pretty much baked into Haystack. I'm afraid
you'll have to reinvent the wheel here.
