This isn't really about the law of technology, rather the evolving technology of the law.  Still, I thought it was pretty interesting.  The 'Posse List' is a list for attorneys who do contract work reviewing documents for litigation.

When parties to a big lawsuit couldn't agree on a vendor to host an  
electronic document repository, the court appointed electronic data  
discovery special master Craig Ball to help. He found that vendors  
were feeding him the old page equivalency claim often abused to  
misstate the burden and cost of EDD. Ball knocks down the claim in a  
matter of fact: You can't reliably equate a volume of data with a  
number of pages unless you know the composition of the data.
