FW: Thank you for adding to the WHITELIST!

Bug found.  When I the attached email as an attachment, the report lists
the address as added to the whitelist, the second time, already being on
the whitelist.  BUT, if I open the email and forward from there, there
is no listing of addresses that have been whitelisted or already are.

Ideas?  1.3.9.

Paul,

Attached is the message I forwarded. Curious that no email addresses are
listed below as being added to whitelist. I also suspect this sender was
probably whitelisted before.

A Governing Webinar
When and Where:

How Auditors Can Help Boost Government Performance

Date: Tuesday, June 24th Time: 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT Duration: 1 hour NO FEE Questions? Contact Alexandra Wesley at awesley@...

Using Auditors to Boost Government Performance

Join Governing's Jonathan Walters for a special web seminar on this topic, on Tuesday, June 24th at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT.

They're not always loved by top managers and mayors, but local government auditors can be key contributors to high performing government. The right auditor with the right attitude can help managers and mayors keep governments focus on efficient, effective government without playing "gotcha."

Walters will talk with Mark Funkhouser, who spent more than 20 years as auditor for Kansas City and who is now in his second year as mayor and who will offer his view of how auditors, elected executives and top managers can better work together, having now lived it from both sides. They'll be joined by Steve Morgan long time auditor for Austin, Texas, who has worked with a wide variety of mayors and administators, and David Corliss, city manager for Lawrence, Kansas, where an auditor was just recently added to the organizational chart.

Together the three will offer veterans' views of how to build working relationships between auditor shops and the rest of local government, and answer your questions about whether and how an auditor might help your government focus more tightly on performance and results.

You'll learn:

* About the evolution of auditors from the 'green eyeshade' days to becoming active partners in supporting high-performance government.
* How to build better working relationships between auditors, managers and mayors.
* How to work strategically with auditors to enhance and improve government operations.

Register today to join Jonathan Walters and his guests, your colleagues, in this discussion.

Before you join, be sure to read (or re-read) Walters' article "The Super Sleuth" <http://gov-media.com/portal/wts/ccmc3QaAnFaqkenLuBDtbhm8wuc>  in the June issue of Governing.

Forwarding inline kills the headers, forwarding as an attachment
preserves them.

Best way to whitelist manually IMHO is to send a blank email with the
addresses in the body, one per line.

Right, but the address is still in the email when forwarding inline,
assp just isn't picking it up.  It's not reasonable to teach 2800 users
to forward as an attachment.  If only I could get client services to get
off their a** and deploy assp toolbar.

To be clear; are you saying that when you forward as an attachment the
email gets whitelisted, but when you forward inline it does not?
