FMP8 Send Mail

Experts,
 
I have a simple script that goes to a layout, prints that layout to a
PDF, gets the desktop path, saves the pdf to the desktop, and then
emails that file to the specified address.   The script seems to work
without problems when the option "perform without dialog" is checked for
the Send Mail script step.
 
If I uncheck this option, the script runs, the PDF is created, but the
email is never created.  I would like to have the new message created,
the file attached, the To address included and then pause (or complete
but without actually sending the email) so the user can review the
attachment to make changes, add other files, or verify the PDF is indeed
for that user.  Is this possible, or do I have to use the "perform
without dialog" option?

This depends on what email client you are using.
If you¹ll use MS Entourage on a Mac, it will put your email including the
attachment either in the Draft box, or either in the Out box.
In both cases you wil be able to check the email & attachment.
(Apple¹s own mail behaves differently.)

For the PC a similar email client must be available.

For me an a mac - it works as Paul says. I'm wondering if it is possible to
control whether it puts things in the drafts or outbox?

I'm on Windows XP SP2 using Outlook 2003 SP3 and Exchange Server 2003 SP2.  If I have "perform without dialog" checked the email is succesfully mailed with the correct attachment.  If I uncheck that option, the script runs it just doesn't create a draft or put anything in the outbox, its almost like it skips that step?

I also have tried the "save as PDF" command with the "create email" box checked and nothing is created when that command is executed either.  Any ideas?
