Can anyone give some help about cf mapping and virtual mappings for
FC5, running on dedicated IIS server that will allows for unlimited
number of projects to share a single core framework and library of
plugins.
On IIS 7 (Vista)
I created this mapping:
ColdFusion mapping:
/farcry -> C:\farcry
IIS 7
/farcryinst -> C:\farcry\core\webtop\install
Then mapping for each application:
/myproject -> C:\farcry\projects\myproject\www
/myproject/webtop -> C:\farcry\core\webtop
And this works perfect.
But how to setup this on the Web server – IIS 6?
WE have an dedicated server, and I can’t setup the mappings right.
Hoping for some help.
