Executables missing after binary package installHi,
I've just installed the Midgard CMS as a binary package on Fedora Core 4 according to the instructions at http://www.midgard-project.org/documentation/installation-distros-fedora/. The yum installation output indicates that everything goes as expected: ============================================================================= Package Arch Version Repository Size ============================================================================= Installing: midgard-cms noarch 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 9.0 k Installing for dependencies: aegir noarch 1.0.3-3.fc4 midgard-stable 2.4 M midcom noarch 2.4.6-1.fc4 midgard-stable 1.9 M midcom-template noarch 2.4.6-1.fc4 midgard-stable 55 k midgard-apache2 i386 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 44 k midgard-authentication noarch 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 598 k midgard-core i386 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 130 k midgard-datagard noarch 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 44 k midgard-framework noarch 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 11 k midgard-layout noarch 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 36 k midgard-localization noarch 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 45 k midgard-php4 i386 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 148 k midgard-repligard i386 1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 36 k midgard-welcome noarch 1:1.7.3-1.fc4 midgard-stable 44 k spider noarch 1.4.0rc2-3.fc4 midgard-stable 180 k Transaction Summary ============================================================================= Install 15 Package(s) Update 0 Package(s) Remove 0 Package(s) Total download size: 5.7 M Is this ok [y/N]: ... Running Transaction Installing: midgard-core ####################### [ 1/15] Installing: midgard-php4 ####################### [ 2/15] Installing: midgard-apache2 ####################### [ 3/15] Installing: midcom ####################### [ 4/15] Installing: midgard-repligard ####################### [ 5/15] Installing: midgard-datagard ####################### [ 6/15] Installing: midgard-localization ####################### [ 7/15] Installing: midgard-authentication ####################### [ 8/15] Installing: midcom-template ####################### [ 9/15] Installing: midgard-layout ####################### [10/15] Installing: midgard-welcome ####################### [11/15] Installing: aegir ####################### [12/15] Installing: spider ####################### [13/15] Installing: midgard-framework ####################### [14/15] Installing: midgard-cms ####################### [15/15] However, when I try to set up the CMS using "datagard," "datagard" seems to be missing. After updating the system's "locate" database, a search on "datagard" reveals that the only places there's some dataguard data is in: /usr/share/doc/midgard-datagard-1.7.3 /usr/share/midgard/datagard But all they contain are various config and documentation files. There appears to be no such thing as a "datagard" executable anywhere on me system. In fact, the directory that I'm guessing would be the midgard document root seems to be empty: # ls /var/lib/midgard blobs This doesn't seem right to me. Can anyone explain to me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! --Ole --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: user-unsubscribe@...
