Error installing IEP moduleI am trying to install the IEP module (Service Engine and NetBeans
support) into NetBeans 6.0 Final Release as per the instructions at http://www.glassfishwiki.org/jbiwiki/ attach/IEPSE/InstallationGuide.zip When I try to install the IEP Editor into NetBeans, I get an error saying that the IEP Editor plugin cannot be installed because of a missing required module (org.netbeans.soa.libs.jgo/1 > 1.0) Has anyone seen this problem / know the solution? I have logged an issue for this if anyone can help. http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=123852 Thanks, Dave. |

Re: Error installing IEP moduleI'm getting it from the zip file mentioned below:
http://www.glassfishwiki.org/jbiwiki/attach/IEPSE/InstallationGuide.zip Is there a different one I should be using? Thanks, Dave. Re: Error installing IEP moduleHello Dave,
The latest iep modules are at http://download.java.net/jbi/binaries/open-esb-full-install/nbm/latest/ (just look for all the modules starting with IEP). The latest IEP engine is at http://download.java.net/jbi/binaries/open-jbi-components/main/nightly/latest/ojc/. Could you try these and let me know if it fixes the problem? Thanks, Gabe David Salter wrote: > I'm getting it from the zip file mentioned below: > > http://www.glassfishwiki.org/jbiwiki/attach/IEPSE/InstallationGuide.zip > > Is there a different one I should be using? > > Thanks, > > Dave. > > > On 12 Dec 2007, at 16:56, Gabriel Badescu wrote: > >> Hello David - where are you getting the IEP module from? >> Thanks, >> Gabe >> >> David Salter wrote: >>> I am trying to install the IEP module (Service Engine and NetBeans >>> support) into NetBeans 6.0 Final Release >>> as per the instructions at >>> http://www.glassfishwiki.org/jbiwiki/attach/IEPSE/InstallationGuide.zip >>> >>> When I try to install the IEP Editor into NetBeans, I get an error >>> saying that the IEP Editor plugin cannot be >>> installed because of a missing required module >>> (org.netbeans.soa.libs.jgo/1 > 1.0) >>> >>> Has anyone seen this problem / know the solution? >>> >>> I have logged an issue for this if anyone can help. >>> >>> http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=123852 >>> >>> >>> Thanks, >>> >>> Dave. >>> >> >> -- >> Gabriel Badescu >> Open ESB Community (http://open-esb.org) >> -- Gabriel Badescu Open ESB Community (http://open-esb.org) |

Re: Error installing IEP moduleHi,
I've tried the IEP modules from the link you've supplied and get exactly the same problem. I get the problem when trying to install the IEP Editor plugin (org- netbeans-modules-iep-editor.nbm) - all the other IEP plugins works. "Missing required modules for Plugin IEP Editor: module org.netbeans.soa.libs.jgo/1 >0" Thanks, Dave. Re: Error installing IEP moduleHi,
I've just tried this again with the downloads from the site you listed and still I'm having no luck. I've attempted to install the org-netbeans-modules-iep-editor.nbm module and get the error listed below about the missing "jgo" library. I've also tried downloading the all-in-one.zip from http:// download.java.net/jbi/binaries/open-esb-full-install/nbm/latest/ to see if I've got any dependencies missing and I still get the same problem. It looks like there is a missing dependency, but I am unsure where to get this from. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, Dave. Re: Error installing IEP moduleI did the same thing for the ETL nbms, and it allowed me to install them. They are however broken. The projects do not get created correctly.

Re: Error installing IEP moduleJohn Yeary wrote: I did the same thing for the ETL nbms, and it allowed me to install them. They are however broken. The projects do not get created correctly. The workaround would work only if the bug is a simple mistyping; even with iep, i am not sure if the module-with-workaround really works as expected, but only that the nbms were installed. The dependency issue should eventually be fixed in code. Would you mind filing a bug for ETL nbms in issuezilla? regards, karthik
