Enhanced speedstep diff for i386Please test the diff at the following URL it add support for
retrieving the frequencies and magic values for all the operating points from ACPI. You should test this if your machine comes up as 'unknown enhanced speedstep' during boot. The diff is here: http://www.cs.ualberta.ca/~gklok/est.diff This diff depends on ACPI please make sure that if you test that you disable APM. I would appreciate tremendously that if you do test that you send me the dmesg, and run md5 -t at hw.setperf=100 md5 -t at hw.setperf=0 (make sure apmd isnt running when you test this...)
