Doesn't sound like a working system. Might want to start
with basic testing.

Download memtest86+ and create a CD from the .iso. Boot from
it and let it run for a few passes.

Test the hard drive. I use spinrite, which isn't free, but
drive makers give away diagnostic software.

Open the computer, and open the power supply. Check both the
motherboard and inside the power supply for bad caps as
shown here:

Try changing the nics with other brands. Try other PCI
slots. Disable the onboard nic and substitute with a PCI
nic.

Try changing the ethernet cables and even try different
ports on the switch and dsl/cable connection.

And reinstall EFW, but don't restore the old backup to see
if you can get it to work...

I see Endian 2.2-RC3 is completed according to the change log, but its not available for download, does anybody know where I can get a copy to test.

any proxy is disabled, becouse i use only natting and the clamd is stopped. Another idea?

Even after you update, you will still need to stop and
restart services every few months. But that's not as bad as
it is with version 0.91.x

Just want to add that, if you don't find anything
says "postfix" in folder /etc/sysconfig, I just create
a file name postfix which inside the file I put this:
POSTFIX_ADD_SMTPD_RECIPIENT_RESTRICTIONS=”reject_unverified_recipient”
as inform by Christoph.

POSTFIX_ADD_SMTPD_RECIPIENT_RESTRICTIONS=”reject_unverified_recipient”
at /etc/sysconfig/postfix
and
mydomain.com smtp:[IP of the internal server] at etc/postfix/transport
should do the job.

I solved this issue by following claurita's post on the
bugtrack post (http://bugs.endian.it/view.php?id=943). It
does upgrade to .93.1.

Attached is the script that does pulls the RPMs and the
updated conf.tmpl files.

infact there is another kernel module for the 8139.
the actual kernel module loaded is 8139too, the other is 8139cp.
Do you advise me to try to change the module?
the firewall is located in another city and if i change che kernel module of network card mybe bomb all!!!

Maybe this could help you... I'm trying ipcop with urlfilter and adv proxy,
because Endian problems in 3 customers mine.

When the final 2.2 release will be available, I try Endian again.

yes, if i reboot endian work fine, but also after some minutes come back to run normally

use the transparent BCC functionality of the smtp proxy in order to bcc
to a archiving email address of your internal mail server.

Use either Proxy > SMTP > "Mail routing" in order to configure a BCC for
only some email addresses, or

use Proxy > SMTP > advanced > "Advanced settings" > "Always BCC address"
in order to BCC all in and outgoing mail to another email address

i don't think that it's a high traffic problem becouse in Network graph there is trace of high traffic.

Yes you can, into the network wizard you can chose more interface
assigned to green zone, just clicking on the corresponding interface, i
don't think is needed the ctrl key..

I guess this is the best solution... Or, If you have a deep linux knowlegde, you can try to use another realtek module, like in windows we know as 'driver'.
