Electric ReverseDoesn't seem to be too much detail kicking about on this issue, I've found a small amount of info and a couple of suppliers but would prefer to make my own.
I've seen a few pictures of them and seen some in person at a race meeting, they all appear to be using the same starter motor. Does anyone know what the starter is off? It looks like its from a bike but which one? |

ATV winches for the drive motor.. -- Notice: This e-mail is confidential and should not be used by anyone who is not the original intended recipient. RE: Electric ReverseMany of them will use a carbed Fireblade (or Blackbird) starter and gears if the pinion is to face forwards, or from the motor from a VFR400 (and Blade gears) if the pinion faces the rear. they both look the same, but rotate the opposite way.

RE: Electric ReverseWhen clearing out my workshop a couple of weeks ago I found I have a Honda
starter motor and gear train left over from my old build. I'm pretty sure it's from a CBR600. The motor's the same as a blade but the gearing looks different. Mail me offlist if you want to make me an offer on it. andy@... _____ From: bike-engined-cars@... Re: Electric ReverseSorry Gordon, this is probably a daft question but what do you mean by
the pinion? Is this the gear which comes out of the starter motor?
