Attempting to install the nightly=stable

./monetdb-install.sh --prefix=/monetdb --enable-sql --nightly=stable

Results in

 --2008-09-02 22:47:46--  http://www.ins.cwi.nl/~monet/tars/latest/stable/MonetDB.tar.gz.md5sum
Resolving www.ins.cwi.nl... 192.16.196.21
Connecting to www.ins.cwi.nl|192.16.196.21|:80... connected
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
2008-09-02 22:47:46 ERROR 404: Not Found.

fetching http://www.ins.cwi.nl/~monet/tars/latest/stable/MonetDB.tar {,bz2:bzip2,gz:gzip} failed!

We have done this at least 15 times over the last year with no problems - is there an issue with the deployment of the build, or it is us?

The log informs us gsed is not available. This is the first time we have tried this on OpenSuse 11.0 (sed is installed).

please download the latest install-script from
http://www.cwi.nl/~fabian/troep/monetdb-install.sh
and report if that one works correctly.

I think I hit and found the same problem.

Please do not hesitate to let me know clearly and explicitly in case the
live web site need to be requilt after changes --- I do (and will) not do
this automatically after each checkin to the monetweb repository --- nor can
I guarantee that I did/do/will notice all such hints in other emails...
