I posed a question about sensor makers a while back.

The EOS 1D had a CCD sensor made by ?????

All others, 1d MkIIn, 5D, 20Da, 1DsMkII, 20D, 10D, D60,D30,300D, 350D,
400D have CMOS sensors made by Canon.

The 20Da has a CMOS sensor specially modified for Astrophotography.

Notice that since Canon's sensors became CMOS they are all made by Canon

No, they made the LCD-screen, at least the one in the 20D ;-)

The 20Da has the same sensor as the 20D, only the low pass filter is
modified (also from DPReview.
