Dear Craig, In HK there are a few reputable dealers, but the two best known are Man Shin and Wan Shin in Mong Kok (You can go there by MTR, exit D2 if my memory serves me right) Keep in mind that you have to know your prices, because there was stuff much cheaper, but also with no difference at all. (I live in Europe). If you buy a body there, then you can get 0,5 year international warranty from Canon Hong Kong, when you have bought an official HK import. If you want more info, please contact me off-line, or go to photo.net, where there is a thread with al this info of good and bad dealers, warranty etc. in HK. This has helped me a lot, when I was there last month. (But it is a lot to read ;-) http://photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=000GnZ Drikus. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm *********************************************************** |

Unfortunately, it's not me going to HK but my wife. She won't have time for a mission, so I just wanted a dealer near her hotel. I want to try the SCK-E1 Sensor Cleaning Kit and it's not yet available outside Japan and HK. I'll try reading the linked thread. Thanks again, CraigZ * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm *********************************************************** |
