I'm not sure how high Canon's expectations were for a $3000 camera, it seems
to have held its own, from talking to the guys at my camera store. But
March is 18 months into the 5D's product cycle, and by some reckonings, time
for it to be replaced, or at least upgraded. I'm betting on a 1Ds mkII
replacement this spring, and the 5D to have a two year cycle, myself.
