END subcommand in data list.Is there any reason (other than compatibility) why the END command
is supported only in DATA LIST FIXED and implemented in DATA LIST LIST ? Your phrasing is odd, so that I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at, but I don't see a reason that END can't be supported for all forms of DATA LIST. I think all we would have to do is to drop the check that it only be used with DATA LIST FIXED (or make it conditional on the syntax compatibility setting). -- "Now I have to go wash my mind out with soap." --Derick Siddoway _______________________________________________ pspp-dev mailing list pspp-dev@... http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/pspp-dev |

Your phrasing is odd, so that I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at, Sorry. I meant to type "supported only in DATA LIST FIXED and not implemented DATA LIST LIST" ^^^ J' -- PGP Public key ID: 1024D/2DE827B3 fingerprint = 8797 A26D 0854 2EAB 0285 A290 8A67 719C 2DE8 27B3 See http://pgp.mit.edu or any PGP keyserver for public key. _______________________________________________ pspp-dev mailing list pspp-dev@... http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/pspp-dev |

At first glance (haven't had time to take a second glance yet), it would work if it wasn't disallowed. It'd be OK with me if we allowed it, if so. -- "Unix... is not so much a product as it is a painstakingly compiled oral history of the hacker subculture." --Neal Stephenson _______________________________________________ pspp-dev mailing list pspp-dev@... http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/pspp-dev |

At first glance (haven't had time to take a second glance yet), it would work if it wasn't disallowed. It'd be OK with me if we allowed it, if so. I hadn't even taken a first glance. I just found that when I tried it, I got an error message.
