EAC with Philips CDR770 discs

I recently acquired a Philips CDR770 CD recorder that I intend to put
with conventional my receiver/phonon setup.  I was thinking that I
might use it to digitize a few old LPs onto Music CDRW disc and then
rip the resulting CDRW with EAC to WAV which I could then edit, etc.

Is there anything out of the ordinary that I should be aware of
regarding ripping such discs with EAC?  [I do have considerable
experience using EAC to backup my commercial discs.]
