Has anyone double checked downloading the ruby modules via the update
center? I just tried to install the "Ruby and Rails" module into my NB
6.1 RC2 "Java + JavaEE" install and get an error about unavailable GSF
modules, specifically:
Missing required modules for Plugin Common Scripting Languages API:
Common Scripting Language Support [module org.netbeans.modules.gsf/2
= 1]
Missing required modules for Plugin Common Scripting Languages Support:
Common Scripting Language Support [module org.netbeans.modules.gsf/2 = 1
My startup log shows this module present and versioned like this
org.netbeans.modules.gsf/2 [0.71.0.1.1.1.1.6 1 200804170002]
This is the same version that the ruby distribution I downloaded
contains. Is it conceivable that this module's version changed between
RC2 and whatever FCS will be? That's the only way I can make sense of
this so far.
