I am thinking of embedding Gestalt into Firefox 3.0 later in the year
(I have finally managed to get information on how to approach the
problem). This means using CECIL. Does gec support that yet? If not I
can use ISE (probably the performance difference will not be marked in
situations where a browser is being used, but I am anxious that it is
as fast as possible, as it will be a bit of a showcase for Eiffel).
Ideally, what I want to do is to be able to build a shared library, so
Gestalt can be called by other languages (php, python, ruby etc.), and
use the same library from the Firefox interface.
