Okay, spoilers ahead.....

Lis Sladen will be appearing as Sarah Jane Smith in the last few episodes of the fourth season of Dr Who. But is anyone else just a little bit disappointed that it doesn't look as though other characters like Luke or Maria will be appearing?

..... We have Luke sign ^___^  And Sarah looks so amazing, even Captain Jack is moved to compliment.  Sarah is made of Win in this episode and remembers her past well.    Seriously, Lis Sladen is an awesome actress in this episode.

Lis Sladen and Tommy Knight both gave excellent performances, I was really happy with it. I do think it's a shame that Maria and Clyde couldn't be in it, but it's understandable given how complicated the episode was anyway. I think they would have struggled to know what to do with all of the kids, and it wouldn't have worked so well.
Can't wait until Saturday!!

I've just seen both the last two eps of Doctor Who with Elisabeth Sladen. The story is a really good one and she is absolutely fantastic. Sarah has a good role considering she's sharing with a whole stack of other companions. I've studied her in School Reunion, SJA and now this story of DW to see how she has changed etc and I think in these two eps she behaves most like the old Sarah, which pleased me. Sarah does her bit to help out, she is very brave and she is very happy to be back in the TARDIS. My only regret about the show was that she did not spend any time with the doctor. They did not actually have a greeting moment of their own, any time to speak to eachother, and their goodbye scene was far too rushed. I think the writers did a great job but I'd like them to get away from the lonely Doctor thing and the going back to past companions. I'd like him to move on, be happy and get new companions, perhaps an alien, someone different who doesn't fancy him.  I hope the new eps are more space related.  I think the writers managed to make everyone happy with this ep. They talk about the prophecy and everything converging on that moment but it's funny to see how the whole season or even series has been designed to converge with that episode. I wonder if the writers/producers had that in mind right form the start?????

Luke is in the ep but not any of the other SJA people. I"me glad they weren't in it because it's supposed to be past companions and there were toomany people sharing th elime light as it was without extras that aren't important. HAving Luke was natural because he is Sarah's son. There are Torchwood people also in it. It's a nice crossover of the 3 shows and quite tastefully done too I might say. I was a bit worried about marrying Torchwood up with SJA but Jack kept himself under control.....well almost. lol.  I was a bit apprehensive about the ep but it all turned out really well. There's a really great surprise too. I wished for it but really did not expect it. It's all good. Be excited to see it and enjoy it when you do.
