Hi,
I have a question about internationalization. I am trying
to include support for a wide range of locales for a Dojo application
that makes use of certain Dijits, including Editor. In an attempt to
accomplish this, I downloaded a source installation of Dojo. 1.1.1 and
then used Ant to run the build.xml file that is located in
util\buildscripts\cldr (without any parameters -- I simply typed "ant"
as specified in the documentation). After doing this, I ended up with
182 locale folders in my dojo\cldr\nls directory -- which is great.
However, this build doesn't seem to create new locale folders for other
nls directories throughout the dojo directory tree, such as
dijit\_editor\nls. Also, when I test some of the "extra" languages
that I need (such as Slovenian), I see that the tool tips for my Editor
dijit are still displaying in English.
Am I doing something wrong, or are the additional translations for
certain dijits just not available yet? Will I need to create these
myself?
Thanks,
Denise
