Digital False-Color Infrared

I've been playing lately with false-color infrared using my Fuji IS-1.
Using a B+W 099 orange filter, then swapping red & blue, it gives a look
somewhat reminiscent of false-color film, e.g.

Using a 25 red and similar post-processing, it produces some very
interesting results, e.g.

The IR effects in this second picture aren't immediately obvious, but
the cloud contrast is dramatically enhanced compared to visible light,
and the deciduous and evergreen trees have very different colors.

I'm also very happy with the sensitivity of the camera -- with the 25
red, the second picture was shot at ISO 80, 1/180 sec @ f/4.5.
