DigDB Error

Hi

I got a license for my DigDB add on a few weeks back. But today I noticed that it was no longer part of my Excel Toolbar. When I try start DigDB I get a pop up that says "Could not load an object because it is not available on this machine."

And then When I select DigDB on my toolbar the only option I get is "Complex Filter" which doesn't seem to work either.

I have tried reinstalling DigDG but I get the same thing. Please help me with this issue.

Thank you

Patrick

This is caused by DigDB being disabled. This can be easily fixed. Click 'Excel->Help->About Microsoft Excel', then click the button 'Disabled Items', check to see if DigDB has been disabled. If DigDB is in there, 'Enable' it.

Excel 2007 has a different menu, if you are using Excel 2007, click big round Office icon located in the top-left corner of Excel, then go to Excel Options...-> Add-ins-> Manage-> Dropdown to "Disabled Items"-> Go... do you find Digdb in the disabled items? If yes, enable it.

These errors are VBA errors. They usually indicate that your Excel is missing some VBA libraries. A typical Excel installation should include all the VBA libraries, but you may have a custom installtion or sometimes the VBA module may get corrupted because of past changes or upgrades. You can usually fix these errors by repairing Excel. Go to your computer's Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Microsoft Office->Click here for support information->Repair, click the "repair" button to repair Office. Or, uninstall and reinstall Office to get a fresh start.
