Hello,
We're seeing xine-lib 1.1.14 crash with a glibc assertion when we try
and play ASF files that do not have title, author or description
metadata. The workaround for us is to use Windows Media File Editor
(part of the Encoder suite) to add the missing metadata to files.
I've not yet had time to dig through and find out what's causing the
crash (or to try more recent xine-lib versions), so this is just a
heads-up in case someone else has an "aha!" moment.
