Debugging code read in with eval?

Is there some way to step through and see the code if it has been read
in with eval?
If not, would it be possible to add this feature? Currently debugging
only works with Microsoft script editor in Internet Explorer. Most of
our framework (Bindows) is read in with eval so it would be great if
there was a way to use Firebug to debug.
