Debian Linux related question for SeanDid the .gcj issue with Debian Linux get resolved. I need to be able to
use files that have that extension as they are dependencies for a couple of apps that I want to use. I installed them, figuring that after a year or so that this would be resolved. No MoneyDance immediately after I installed them & it was working fine before. I will remove them again and try to find a work around but this is something that I would hope to see go away soon. Thanks! - John Foster _______________________________________________ moneydance-info mailing list moneydance-info@... http://moneydance.com/mailman/listinfo/moneydance-info |

Re: Debian Linux related question for Sean-Uh!solvedOOPS! I had recently updated the Sun java installation and the virtual
path in the MD java home line had been change. I replaced that with a token so it will not be a problem again. However I still would like to know about the gcj stuff as they are linked to OpenOffice.org which I use. I actually have the entire Sun Java 6 SDK installed. The gcj items are strictly dependenciees that are peculiar to Debian. Sean & I had communicated about this a while back & he told me about the gcj issue. I followed his advice & the problem was corrected. I just recently decided that I needed to upgrade my entire Debian system to accomodate some new hardware. Within the updates was the installation of the Openoffice.org dependencies that require the gcj installation. I did post a second item that indicates that I got this fixed myself. Thanks for the advice though!! frosty _______________________________________________ moneydance-info mailing list moneydance-info@... http://moneydance.com/mailman/listinfo/moneydance-info |

Re: Debian Linux related question for SeanProbably nothing , but there was an issue previously, with the gcj
wrapper, which Debian does prefer. It was a while ago and I simply followed Seans instructions to get rid of the gcj stuff & all was well. - John Foster On Wed, 2008-08-06 at 12:29 -0400, Rinaldi J.
