Hey folks! Long time, not see uh? I've been busy with other work and couldn't follow PixLib's evolution.. well, until now.
I'm back into the scene and I'm happy to see that LowRA has taken shape! Congrats Francis and all the people involved!
Guys, I'm building a small Flash App that needs some data source. I'm thinking about using XML for now since it is very simple and its data model can be easily modeled using a XML file.
Anyways, what I would like to do is abstract the means of storage (XML files) from the service itself. I'm not sure if pixlib's remoting API also accepts data sources other than Flash Remoting (AMF) itself. I want it such a way that if I eventually change the backend storage from XML to something else (maybe mysql+php and AMFPHP) the client code will remain (mostly) untouched. How could I accomplish it with pixlib?
PS.: As I've not been following pixlib's progress, I also have lost in touch with most sources of documentation. Where could I find updated hints, tips and docs about PixLib and LowRA nowadays?
Thanks!
Marcelo.
