Hi Guys,

I am getting this error message in my production server.  Web users
are able to connect as well, but the connection is not consistent.  I
get this error and if I refresh my webpage 4 - 5 times I am logged
in. Please take a look at the following error:

DM_DOCBROKER_E_NETWORK_ERROR]error: "An error occured performing a
network operation: (Unknown error code 104 (_nl_error_ = 0)). Network
specific error: (Extended network error: 0)."

[DM_DOCBROKER_E_CONNECT_FAILED]error: "Unable to connect to
DocBroker. Clients please check your dmcl.ini file for a correct
host. Server please check your server.ini or target attributes in
server config. Network address: (INET_ADDR: family: 2, port: 1489,
host: sac-p-dms-ctm1.juniper.net (66.129.252.169, 4281fca9))."

[DM_DOCBROKER_E_REQUEST_FAILED_E]error: "The Docbroker request
failed." [DM_DOCBROKER_E_NETWORK_ERROR]error: "An error occured
performing a network operation: (Unknown error code 104 (_nl_error_ =
0)). Network specific error: (Extended network error: 0)."

And the docbroker log says "Mon Jun 23 16:09:56 2008 446551
[DM_DOCBROKER_E_CONN_REJ_1]error:  "Docbroker: Refusing service to
client on connection 11 -- too many clients""

I have restarted all the servers (Windows , Linux) , restarted the
docbases (5.3 SP4), docbrokers, the webserver (tomcat).  The network
connections between the app server and the content server has been
tested ok, firewall and other parameters haven't changed recently.

Please let me know if you are able to figure out the cause and
possible solution.

Regards
Sharath Logandha

Is there sufficient memory resource available on the content server
....whats the configuration of production and how many users are
connected at any given point of time...

also check the dmcl.ini file for max_concurrent_users

If this does not solves the problem ...check the docbase / repository
logs for any specific error

Also check any docbroker port is blocked either on CS or Web server
