Current / Original Author (Magic Word/Query)

Is there a magic word, extension, or query of some sort that allows a
user to bring back the username of the original author of an article?
Is there one that does the same but for the current (last) author of
the article?

No. Mediawiki doesn't have any concept of "original author". Keep in
mind that old revisions can come and go.

That's bug 10336 (or perhaps bug 12733, a duplicate imho)
