Hi All,

I am a newbie to Farcry and need some help with my events pages. I
have set up some events and a pages to display the my events rule. The
problem is that when I view my event my navigation says that I am at
the home page instead of staying within the events section of my site.
I do I pass the navid to the header to make sure that the navigation
stays on the events section of my web site. I have my breadcrumb
working the problem is only with the navbar.

Hi
Im not sure how 'elegant' a solution this is but I set up the link to
the event to pass through the id of the page that the link is on as well
as the eventide. I then use this id to build the nav and breadcrumbs
instead of request.navid in the events displaypageStandard template.

Im working in farcry 3 atm tho. Not sure if its how id do it in 4 as I
haven't any experience with it.

Regards Liz

Check the navid you are passing into the navigation tag. Make sure its
the same as the one your passing into your breadcrumb.

If you pass navid into the url of the event that will override the default location of the page. Alternatively, you can set request.navid manually at the top of your template.
