Consistency Check ResultsI upgraded to the most recent CVS this morning. After installing, I ran the consistency check and had the attached results. Does anyone know what this is saying and whether or not this is a problem? The transactions in question are payments on a revolving loan, split between principal and interest. It is not a scheduled transaction.
When I look at my backup copy, these transactions have nothing listed as actions so I am a bit confused as to whether or not I should let kmymoney make these changes to my file. The action field of a split is used to identify a specific purpose (in this case the interest part of a loan payment). This is needed in some reports. The only thing that happens with this fix is that the attribute action="" of the split will be changed to action="interest". No figures will change. This can happen for manually entered loan payment transactions. The ones entered via a schedule should not show this problem as the action field is setup with the value "interest". Hope that helps. -- Regards Thomas Baumgart GPG-FP: E55E D592 F45F 116B 8429 4F99 9C59 DB40 B75D D3BA ------------------------------------------------------------- I'm running on very little sleep and I need to get to bed before my keyboard becomes my pillow. -- Jeff Green ------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ KMyMoney2-user mailing list KMyMoney2-user@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kmymoney2-user |

my PPA packagesSorry for the delay in getting more recent builds of KMM up to my ppa. I have
been recovering from a dead computer, but I have that all sorted out now, I should have a new version out in the next few days. -- Clay Weber http://kubuntuforums.net http://flyballmaine.com http://emacdogsports.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ KMyMoney2-user mailing list KMyMoney2-user@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kmymoney2-user |
