i've been using this
program in both Windows XP and now, finally, Linux, specifically
PCLinuxOS. i've recommended that it be included in the repos and the
OS maintainers say that it is almost ready to be listed!
i've noticed that someone is working on a more advanced version of
it. Congratulations! At this point i just use it to catalog my CDs
and now DVDs that i have my files backed up to. i have trouble because
the program is so great that it selects all the files but i'd like it
to be able to Search on multiple words, like food and potatoes, for
example.
Anyway, i really like the program and hope it can be improved on.
i really like it because it's so fast! It just runs, zip, zip. i also
like it because the format that it saves in is readable by my
OpenOffice program; it's not in some strange format that i can't get
access to.
So, have a great week and congrats again on your efforts to improve
it. Hope you can find the maintainers, or at least start a fork... :D
