Hi,

Francesco, you wrote it right on time. I've just listened to presentation on Apache Felix, which is OSGi implementation. It's actually very cool and I believe this is what we need (at least I couldn't find anything else besides OSGi). It allows dynamic adding/removing of components in real time. I would suggest to give it a try from the very beginning. It doesn't seem as a load of work (at least from the demo during presentation), so it would not be a waste of time anyway.

I've got to catch this flight now, but as you know I'm all up for these kind
of things:)
As for the integration with atalaya, the only thing that can't change right
now is the dependency between an appliance and its appliancecomponentbuilder, that is responsible of adding aop stuff to the components on the fly.
