Listgoers,

I am wondering if anyone has any good resources for computer security
tutorials, etc. or so-called "hacking videos". If you haven't found any
that you like, what would you look for in such a website? If you have
found some sites that offer this content, is there anything that the
site is lacking? Forums for members to interact, area to request videos,
lack of advanced content?

Thanks in advance for all of your input.

Regards,

Trent W.

Try CBT Nuggets. http://www.cbtnuggets.com/webapp/product?id=250 That's a
direct link to the ethical hacking series.

As far as free tutorials, try the Iron Geeks
http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=security/hackingillustrated and Offensive
Security http://www.offensive-security.com/

Foundstone/McAfee also has full blown courses with some free tutorials here:
http://www.foundstone.com/us/resources-videos.asp

That's the ones I'm most familiar with. I would also be interested to hear
about more...

There is also http://video.reverse-engineering.net/ for video about
reverse engineering.

Video from past recon conference can be found there:
http://recon.cx/2008/archive.html

There is also ftp://mirrors.easynews.com/blackhat&defcon/ that is one of
the biggest mirror of conference video and audio that I know of.
