Hello,

On a Windows XP with Office 2003 SP2 I receive this error: Compile error in hidden module: ThisWorkbook. I did everything I found in the forum about this error:
-Uninstall and delete the Digdb folder
-Macro security level low
-The disable item, there is no disable items
-Add-Ins, digdb is selected

Re-installed the digdb and the error message is still there. In the VBA project when I selected Digdb (digdb.xla) a password box appear. What is this password ? I don't know what to do now. Any help will be kindly appreciate.
Regards,
Zoukah

Usually, this type of error indicates that there are some modules missing or corrupted in your Excel installation. It's hard to track which module has gone missing or corrupted, so what I usually do is to simply repair Excel or reinstall Excel. To repair Excel, go to Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Office->Click here for support information click that link and you will see a "Repair" button. You can try that. My experience is that it fixes the problem 70% of the time, but 30% of the time it doesn't, and you may have to reinstall Office to get a fresh start.

As for the password prompt, that's normal is you are trying view a protectetd vba module. You don't have to go into the digdb.xla file to fix the problem.
